People.

People are what make this world turn.

Life has been good to sing and to laugh for the majority of today's generation. People go to the bar to have a few drinks. Well, those few, for some, turn into more than a few, but that is why they went in the first place; to have fun, drink something they have never tried before and laugh to keep the days troubles from following them home.

Some people drink as a get away, but can never find the comfort in any sip, gulp or pitcher left empty. They just sit, watch and hope that the next drink will bring comfort, but they never think.

My favorite part about people is that they think and speak their mind...

That statement in itself is just a dog wagging its tail. People telling the truth and thinking before they speak? No, people do not like to tell the truth. They don't even think before they speak. Some just think compliments are made just to make compliments. Other people make compliments to one another and people turn these compliments into an insult as if their neighbor's dog had just crapped on their front porch. Or the person that received the compliment thinks that maybe the complimenter wants something in return. The complimenter just wanted to make a compliment. The complimenter is just like the manager that puts his employees in a situation to see if he/she can handle what was just thrown at them. Most employees just curl up and cry; they run away because they are afraid that life might change or ruin what they have on their own. Others think, "this might just make life a little better". They embrace the challenge and life ironically turns out better.

A friend of mine, for most of his life, did what girls liked. He would take them out on dates, and hold back a little to make sure everything went smooth. His thought was that the girl could hear his secrets, his dreams and what he was looking for later. Most people do not think, "I will tell the truth", and in turn they lose the opportunity for success. Soon the situation turns into a hurricane as if the man had just walked out of the eye of the storm. The trees blow hard to the point the "fun tree" just blows right over; pulling the roots right up from the ground. All that work kicked from under him just because he didn't think from square one. He then decided "forget all the rules that people have made up". He is now married because he actually found someone that heard everything from point one. He embraced the challenge and spoke his mind.

Men know when a woman is afraid because they are...

People too.

"People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid."- Soren Aabye Kierkegaard (1813-1855)

Thank you for another great article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a perfect way of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such information.
