I am in the mood to write, but I have nothing to say. As I many before me have said "there are two kinds of people in this world, those who have something to say and those who just say something". Let us not just say something, but have something write.
Have a great day, and remember that God has given us grace now we just need to accept the gift.

Chosen One...
Harry Potter is what they call the "chosen one". People make fun of him for it, love him for it but in the sixth book, because I haven't read the seventh book yet, this is referred to all the time, talk about pressure. He is the one that is going to lead them into battle to fight and destroy the "one-we-do-not-speak-of".
I like the fact that people do not want to talk about the "owdnso". The only thing is that they do so out of fear, the characters in the book are afraid of "owdnso".
I feel that sometimes we give our savior the title" chosen one", but we are afraid of the devil, "the-one-we-do-speak-of". I am not claiming there is a devil, but that is note for another time because I want to talk about the chosen one. How he has conquered over death and given us life.
Col 3:12 says, "As God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothes yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience".
This sounds so nice and easy, and it really is if we except the resurrection of Christ; for we "were also raised with him through faith in the power of God" for we are "God's chosen ones".
As an Irish writer put it, "There comes a point in many people's lives when they can no longer play the role they have chosen for themselves". We are not a "chosen wizard", but a "chosen child of God".

Doubt
People doubt all the time the potential that I have. I have doubted many times the abilities that I have. I notice sometimes that I give into the struggle of keeping focused, but then remember "Life without suffering...would be a form of death. Life depends in some mysterious way on the struggle to be." -D. Hall
(My adviser told me I would fail. Who needs someone to lean on in college and someone that is supposed to help encourage you tell you "you are no good"? She is no longer my adviser.)
Individuals always say, "How do I get a shot at being a leader, and using my talents when I have to start at the bottom"? Well my answer to that is "everyone" not just a couple people, but "Everyone wants to play in the tournament. The rules are straightforward; you must start at the bottom to have a shot at the top."
So, how do I need to set my agenda to keep disappointing the doubters, or having the shot at the top? Putting yourself at risk and work long demanding hours will show what type of person you are. If you want to be competitive in a field that has a fortune to be earned you will have to take risk you will have to work 11 times harder than you are right now. But let me say, choosing status over results will lead to failure, choosing popularity over accountability will lead to failure, choosing certainty over clarity will lead to failure, choosing harmony over productive conflict will lead to failure, and choosing invulnerability over trust will lead to failure. These are not my full 100% thoughts, but this is what I believe and will try to achieve.
Yet I will have to suffer, put up with peoples doubt, start at the bottom, put in long hours, try and choose what is right, loose friends, fall down, retake a class and be far from those I love, the fight is well worth it even if there is doubt!

Presentations
This is probably the year that I am going to break my lifetime record for presentation. I continue to have presentations to prepare for, but it has turned out so far to be a benefit. I not only have class presentations, but I also have presentations for different disciplines around Harding University. Hopefully the time spent on developing presentations will be beneficial for life.
